A Mustang owner in Florida brought his car for a warranty repair. But when an employee went to take back the car, he pushed a button on the remote to unlock it and to his surprise the car started, drove out from the dealership’s court and eventually got into the pond nearby.
As it was found out later, the car had an aftermarket remote start system installed by the owner which was in discordance to factory safety system. As the vehicle was left in gear, after the button on the remote was pushed, it started the car and the car started to drive…
